The distillation tower is a tower gas-liquid contact device for distillation. Each component in the mixture has different volatilization, that is, the vapor pressure of each component is different at the same temperature, so that the light component in the liquid phase (low boiling) is transferred to the gas phase, and the recombination in the gas phase (high boiling) is transferred to the liquid phase, so as to achieve the purpose of separation. Distillation tower is also a kind of mass transfer and heat transfer device widely used in petrochemical production.
